Mountain Trek

The Atlas Mountains reach their highest and most impressive points in Morocco. Composed of three major ranges: the Middle Atlas, the High Atlas, the Anti Atlas as well as the RIF Mountains, lie diagonally from east-northeast to west-southwest forming a geographical borderland. Immediately to the south lies the Sahara, the greatest desert in the world. It is only the Atlas Mountains that prevent northern Morocco from succumbing to its vast sands. The Atlas Mountains are a host to the diverse array of sports activities to be taken advantage of. Trekking, hiking, camping, ski and climbing are just a few of the ways in which the wilderness of Morocco’s mountains bring you closer to contact with the indigenous population know as Berbers. Then and only then can your really experience and learn about the traditions of these hermetic nomads. For many people, this is the highlight of their tour; our aim is to bring you to the beauty of Morocco landscapes. The Atlas Mountains are an uncut, diamond-in-the-rough beauty.
